The garden is lit in the evening, thus allowing it to feel like an extension to the kitchen space.

The bench by the dining table has storage underneath and the kitchen island allows family and guests to gather around the chef when cooking. A white minimalist kitchen from Bulthaup was chosen along with Dinesen wide plank Douglas Fir flooring which gives it a light Scandinavian look. The walk-on glass is a roof light for the basement bedroom.
