Independent homes offer several challenges and if the home is spread over a couple of levels then this challenge becomes demanding. The architects of SANDARBH DESIGN STUDIO, Bangalore have excelled in this job and have managed to put together a home that reflects the deepest desires of the homeowners. This is a place that takes you back to the times when homes were close to nature. This home is the very definition of natural and traditional

Cosy entrance

The lovely gate to the house reminds you of a picket fence- Indian style. The stone pillars have been added for appearance and it seems to do just the right bit to break up the mundane white walls on the perimeter of the house.

Great exterior look

A look at the home from the outside provides a wonderful feel as it is open to the natural elements which means that there is plenty of sunlight, air and wains to enjoy.

Gorgeous view

This lovely view from the window gives you a look at what the home feels like. The centre part of the house is lovely as it is filled with plants and a wall that is painted a sunshine yellow. The lovely arch which holds a wonderful statue is framed by the white making it the focal point.

Wonderful yard

The rust-coloured stones make for a wonderful landscape here. The ornate pillars and the wood beams make for an exceptional gazebo which acts as the perfect place to display the exquisite Krishna Idol.

Unique bedroom

This bedroom seems to include everything you will ever need in your private space. You can sit down and relax on the sofas while you read a book or have a conversation with a loved one. On the other hand, there is a bed to wind down after a long day at work. The tones, colours and the wood all fit together like pieces in a puzzle.

Traditional space

This is a wonderful place to relax and play some board games. The Buddha here seems to have a calming effect while the plants create a cleaner space. The floor tiles are an inspired choice as they seem to work wonderfully well with the traditional theme here in this house.

Exceptional design

You do not need a complicated design to make space look divine. A simple and modest design which has been executed well can do the same for you. Here, the simple bookcase looks elegant and gorgeous against the colours, wood floor and the sheer curtains.

Great outdoors

This lovely space can be the centre of many parties and get-together. The casual seating has been arranged well and the cane works great against the traditional look.An eclectic three-bedroom home in Bengaluru.
